I work intuitively with people using a range of skills. Whatever method we choose together it will always focus on positive change, directed by yourself, in a manner that feels comfortable and fits your way of looking at the world.

Some of the methods I use are:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy: Working with your thinking
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy: Working with emotions, mindfulness and focused action
  • Psychodynamic Therapy:  Reviewing your past and making connections with how it has made you the way you are
  • Solution Focused Therapy: A positive method that explores your strengths and amplifies them to help overcome problems
  • Psychodrama Methods: A fast and highly effective method for getting underneath the automatic thoughts and judgements that can create blocks to change.
  • Visual, artistic, symbolic methods:  Dream work, metaphor, storytelling, storyboard, drawing, small figures, movement and whanau-photo work

I am qualified to work on these issues:
